SBDA work with many funders to provide exciting and low cost community engagement projects.

Sessions are at beginner level with the aim of providing new experiences, developing friendships and improving health and wellbeing.

Street Dance

Sessions are aimed at beginners and are high energy sessions aimed at encouraging an active lifestyle, making new friends and having fun. Funded through Positive Activities and Humberside Police.

Linedancing

Brush off your Cowboy boots and join us every Thursday morning! A fun beginners session for all ages. The session consists of 30 minutes dancing, 30 minutes coffee and a natter and then another 30 minutes of dancing. Funded through the National Lottery, Awards For All.

Mini Movers

A dance and sensory class with many nursery rhymes and fun songs. Working on balance, movement and musicality. Helping your little one to gain confidence, get active and make new friends (you might make some new friends too). Come and relax while we entertain your little one!

Boys Dance
As an advocate for Boys Dance, we have a residency at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe. Encouraging boys to participate in training we providing weekly sessions in Urban Dance. Funded through Arts Council England, participants get to take part in performances both in the community and at the Plowright Theatre.

Funded through Arts Council England and North Lincolnshire Council, Baths Hall Youth Dance is a Contemporary Dance Company for the Gifted and Talented. Member are selected through an audition process and have the opportunity to work with many touring professional companies such at 2Faced Dance.

The group is for those aged 11-19yrs. They train once per week and work on creative pieces which are showcased nationally. Many of the members are those wishing to progress into a career in dance.

Working with adults in the community, the sessions run every month for 2 hours. During the sessions, participants get to experience many dance styles from Street to Contemporary Dance.
